Welcome to Library Services, (formerly eLibrary Services) the library unit for Los Angeles County Office of Education. K-12 educators, librarians, and administrators throughout Los Angeles County have access to our Educator Library, a rich and robust digital collection of ebooks and audiobooks. All you need is a LACOE Library Services library card.

Our Librarian of Record services program supports and improves school library programs and enables contracting districts to meet the requirements of California Education Code. Contact library@lacoe.edu for more information.

eLS offers thousands of ebook and audiobook titles on our OverDrive and Sora platforms, as well as selected print materials in our library at the LACOE Education Center.

Apply Online - Library Services Card Application

All L.A. County K-12 educators and administrators are eligible for a Library Services Card. An educational email address is required.

CALIFORNIA STATE DATABASES

The California State Library offers databases to California public schools and libraries at no cost. While some resources like Encyclopaedia Britannica, Gale, and TeachingBoooks don't require authentication and have direct links, PebbleGo Science and ProQuest resources need to be set up for authentication.
